Video/Security Technician
Job Description:
We are hiring a skilled and motivated Video/Security Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing video surveillance systems, burglar alarms, fire alarms, access control systems, and other low-voltage systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and safety of our client’s properties by delivering top-notch service and support.
Key Responsibilities:

Install, service, and troubleshoot video surveillance systems, burglar alarms, fire alarms, access control systems, and other low-voltage wiring.

Ensure all installations comply with industry standards and client specifications.

Provide on-site and remote technical support for installed systems.

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on security systems.

Maintained detailed records of work performed and installed systems.

Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
Qualifications:

A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in installing and servicing security and low voltage systems is preferred.

Strong understanding and experience with low voltage wiring and knowledge of current industry standards.

Ohio Fire Alarm License is highly desirable.

Factory training on the equipment installed is a significant advantage.

Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.

An associate degree in electronics or a related field, along with computer and networking proficiency, is preferred.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and customer service skills.
Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary starting at $40,000+, with higher pay available based on experience and qualifications.
